Creating Folders

Creating Folders in Virtual Office Information SQL is very easy once the definition for the folders index information has been created. All that is required of the user is to select the Cabinet they would like to create the Folder in, and press one button. A maximum of twelve fields are available for indexing. If we were to create an Invoice Folder like the one described on the previous page, we would get a window that looked like below:

Simply fill out the information and press the Save button. Notice the Make Sub-folder and Make Super-folder buttons. The Make Sub-folder button is used to put this Folder inside another Folder while the Make Super-folder button is used to put other Folders inside this Folder.

The Keywords Field

You may also notice that there is an index field named Keywords. This field is used to index words that relate to this Folder but are not a part of the index informaiton. The Keywords field is automatically a part of every Folder and can hold up to 32,767 characters.
