Book Scanners

Scanning pages of a book has always been an unwieldy task that risks damage to the original, with less than satisfactory results. Until Now. Bound books, newspapers, fragile documents, maps and engineering drawings can be easily, and safely scanned in the book scanners. For those who have mass digitization needs with many books, the robotic page turning book scanners are ideal.
Unlike other scanners and copiers, book scanners from Indus International, Inc. do not require the book to be turned over and pressed down on a glass plate. Instead, the scanning is done from above through contact free digitization, helping to keep your books in good shape.
Indus book scanners can be used as copy machines by simply hooking up an HP or HP-compaible printer directly to the scanner. Press the scan button and your image will be printed on the printer.
